Note on legal status: No legal entity has been registered for this service. The operator must supply the entity name, address and jurisdiction before this policy binds anyone. This document describes the data practices of the Previewcard service as operated today.

What data we collect

Previewcard is designed to collect as little data as possible. The service is stateless by design:

  • URLs you submit are sent to the Previewcard API, which fetches the page and its meta tags, then returns the result. The URL and the result are not stored server-side. Each check is a fresh, independent request.
  • No accounts. There is no registration, no login, and no user profile. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifier.
  • No cookies. The site does not set any cookies, tracking pixels, or local storage of any kind beyond what the browser may automatically cache.
  • No analytics. We do not run analytics scripts, session recording, heatmaps, or any third-party tracking.

How the service works

When you submit a URL:

  1. Your browser sends the URL to the Previewcard API (a Cloudflare Worker).
  2. The Worker fetches the page HTML and parses its Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags.
  3. If an og:image is present, the Worker fetches the image URL to confirm it resolves and reads its dimensions from the binary header.
  4. The result is returned to your browser and rendered. No copy of the URL, the page content, or the result is retained by the service.

Data sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties. The URLs you submit are processed only for the purpose of returning a preview analysis to your browser.

Data retention

Previewcard retains no data. Every check is independent and stateless. Cloudflare, as the hosting provider for the Worker, may retain ephemeral request logs in accordance with their standard practices. These logs are not accessed by Previewcard's operator and no personal data is intentionally included in them.

Your rights

Because no personal data is collected or stored, there is nothing to access, correct, delete, or export. If you have concerns about data handling, please raise them with the operator — no registered entity or designated contact address exists yet, but the operator will establish one when the legal entity is registered.

Changes to this policy

If the data practices of this service change, this page will be updated with a new date. The service will never add tracking, accounts, or data storage without updating this policy first.
