What data Previewcard collects

Previewcard does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The tool operates entirely in your browser session. When you paste a URL and click "Check," the URL is sent to the Previewcard API solely to fetch the remote page, extract its Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags, and verify the referenced image.

The URL you submit is processed once and discarded. No log of submitted URLs is retained. No user accounts exist, and no session data is persisted on the server.

Cookies and local storage

Previewcard does not use cookies. Your theme preference (light or dark mode) is stored in your browser's localStorage — this data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the server.

Third-party services

Previewcard loads font files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Google's use of data collected during font serving is governed by Google's own privacy policy. No other third-party services are used.

Data sharing

Previewcard does not sell, share, or transfer any data — because it collects none. The URLs you submit are processed transiently and not stored.

No legal entity registered

This product is provided as a tool by an unregistered operator. No legal entity has been established for Previewcard at this time. The operator must supply a registered entity name, address, and jurisdiction before any binding terms can apply. Until then, this notice is an honest statement of intent, not a legal contract.
